What it is

A dated record that a Hyperliquid front-end, bot, builder, vault leader or trader controls a wallet, and where relevant a website and an X account.

Who it's for

Hyperliquid builders, vault leaders, front-ends, bots and individual traders.

Steps

Sign with your wallet: get a Proof Rail challenge and sign the exact message. No transaction or deposit is needed.
Publish your X proof: post the challenge token and record ID from the X handle you want checked, and keep the post public.
Add DNS if you have a website: put the TXT value you are given at _rail-proof-challenge.your-domain. Traders with no website skip this.
Submit for review: send the evidence through the API, or ask Proof Rail to help. A reviewer checks the X post with the wallet and domain checks.
Share your record once it is approved.

Good to know

Have your X account and DNS access ready first. A challenge expires after one hour.
Records are valid for 90 days from approval, unless suspended or revoked.
It proves control of the wallet, domain and account at a date. It is not KYC, an endorsement, a code audit or investment advice, and it does not say a deposit is safe.
